Education
Mendy graduated from Northwest Florida State College with an associate's degree.
Experience
She began her banking career of more than 27 years right out of high school, starting at a small community bank in Destin and hasn't looked back since. Mendy's banking roles have consisted of various positions including teller, trainer, construction administration and branch manager, finally landing in Mortgage in 2012 when she became an originator. Mendy enjoys her career because she takes pride in customer service and aims to be very responsive to her clients and referral partners. Making the dream of homeownership become a reality has been very rewarding for her.
Community
Mendy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Walton County Habitat for Humanity. She is a current member of the Women's Council of Realtors Emerald Coast, also serving their Board for four years and was named Strategic Partner of the Year in 2019 by the organization. In addition, Mendy is a long standing member of both the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors and The Building Industry Association of Okaloosa-Walton Counties, Inc.
Hobbies
Outside of the office, Mendy enjoys deep sea fishing, boating and soaking up the Florida sun on their beautiful beaches. She and her family spend their winters deer hunting, riding four wheelers, shooting skeet and building campfires.
Family
Mendy has lived in Destin for 27 years and has two active teenage boys who love to skateboard, surf and exercise.
